Thus is his cheek the map of days outworn, 他的脸俨然如往古岁月的留纹，
When beauty lived and died as flowers do now, 那时的美恰如今日之花自灭自生。
Before the bastard 1 signs of fair were born, Or durst inhabit on a living brow; 那时虚矫粉饰之美尚未出世，更不敢在活人的额上兀自存身。
Before the golden tresses of the dead, 那时死者的金发尚能安然
The right of sepulchres, were shorn away, 长存于墓穴，尚未遭祸于快剪
To live a second life on second head; 以便在第二个额头上苟延年命，
Ere beauty's dead fleece made another gay: 好使美艳在别人头上借发重生。
In him those holy antique hours are seen, 在他们身上活现出远古圣洁的光彩，
Without all ornament 2, itself and true, 天然去雕饰，惟有朴质天真，
Making no summer of another's green, 不借他人之绿铺陈夏色，
