The Shepherd 牧童
How sweet is the shepherd's sweet lot! 牧童的好运道多美妙，
From the morn to the evening he strays; 从早到晚他到处转：
He shall follow his sheep all the day, 他得整天跟着羊群跑
And his tongue shall be filled with praise. 他嘴里吐着赞美的语言。
For he hears the lambs' innocent call, 他听见羔羊天真地呼唤，
And he hears the ewes' tender reply; 他听见母羊温柔地答腔，
He is watchful 1 while they are in peace, 他小心看守，它们也平安，
For they know when their shepherd is nigh. 因为它们晓得牧童就在近旁
