Now the day is over, 太阳已然落山，
Night is drawing nigh, 黑夜正在迫近，
Shadows of the evening 黄昏的影子，
Steal across the sky. 悄悄穿越天际。
Now the darkness gathers, 黑暗正在聚集，
Stars begin to peep; 群星正在眨眼。
Birds, and beasts, and flowers 鸟兽与花朵，
Soon will be asleep. 很快便要入眠。
Through the lonely darkness, 穿越孤独黑暗，
May the angels spread 愿天使降临。
Their white wings above me, 以其白色翅膀
Watching round my bed. 守护我的温床。
