1--I have started learning to play the guitar.
2--Have you?
1--And I've always been intereste in... I've never
had the time, and...
2--So you've bought a guitar?
1--I have.
2--And are you taking lessons?
1--Not taking lessons, I'm teaching 2 myself.
2--I see. You've got a, a book and...
1--Yeh, and I've talked to people that play the
guitar, got the basic ideas.
2--Yes--and are you making progress?
1--Yes, I am, making very good progress, yes.
2--Oh great.
1--I'm very pleased actually.
2--Wh-what sort of music do you want to play?
1--A-all sorts, nothing in particular, anything perhaps
from Spanish, classical, jazz.

1）guitar：吉他。注意，演奏某种乐器时，必须
用定冠词，如play the guitar, play the piano,
playthe violin等。
2）take lessons：上课；听课。
3）make progress：取得进步。注意下列短语中的修饰
语make a lot of/ good/ much/ little/ fast/ show/
progress.progress为不可数名词，不用冠词。
4）in particular：特别，尤其。
5）Spanish：西班牙的。
6）jazz：爵士音乐，一种起源于美国黑人的活泼
放纵，节奏强烈的舞曲。
