1--What do you like doing in the evening? Do you
   watch much TV, for example?
2--Yes, quite a lot of television. Yes.
1--How much?
2--Erm, I should think about 2 to 3 hours.
1--Every day?
2--Yes.
1--Yuh. What are your favourite programmes?
2--Um, documentaries...serials 1, classics.
1--Yes. Do you watch much sport on TV?
2--Snooker, horse--jumping.

注解:
1)Do you watch much TV?:much是表示程度的“量”
词,可以指时间的长短,也可以指次数的多少。这里
主要指时间。下文a lot of television与much television
同义。但疑问句中多用much.
2)favourite programmers:最喜爱的节目。注意美语
中的拼法是favorite programs。
3)documentary:反映现实或历史事件的新闻片,纪录片。
4)Snooker:一种以15只红木球及6只其他彩色球在台球
桌上进行的游戏。
