1--How many hours a week are you working at the
moment?
2--Erm--well I'm working Monday to Friday...

evenings a week, but the evenings, erm. that
I'm working are usually a little bit 3 longer
than any other time of the year, and I will
do the occasional 4 Saturday, 'cause 5 obviously

1）occasional：偶尔的，非经常的。注意这句话中文
与英文的说法区别很大。
2）'cause=because
3）a popular day：原义指星期六是假日，顾客较多，
因而商店，餐馆也需打工的学生干活。译文与原文略有
不同。

2--哦,我从星期一到星期五工作,加上...
1--是吗?你目前工作时间较多吧?
2--是的,我现在一个星期有三个晚上打工.我通常
也是一星期三个晚上打工。不过眼下晚上工作的
时间比其它季节晚上时间要长些。偶尔星期六也
干活，因为显然星期六工作好找。
