3. Islamic State militants 3 armed with assault rifles and explosives attacked targets in and around the northern Iraq city of Kirkuk. Multiple explosions rocked the city in an attack appears to aim at diverting Iraqi security forces from a massive offensive against IS held city of Mosul.
