2. Almost weeks after parts of Haiti were hit by Hurricane Matthew, communities are getting desperation. Powers are still out and water and food are scarce as relief convoys 2 are being halted by young men, putting up blockages 3 in the villages on the way to hard-hit cities.
3. Commuter 4 railway service has resumed at New Jersey 5 transit 6 station, damaged after a train crash killed a woman on the platform and injured more than 100. Eight of the 17 tracks at Hoboken Terminal reopened on Monday.
4. And a bald eagle that somehow managed to get wedged in the front grill 7 of a Florida car was freed unharmed by police after hurricane Matthew rolled passed the area. The bird could be seen peering out of a passing car on Saturday in the storm's aftermath is now at a wildlife sanctuary 8 in Jacksonville.
