F: well. Let’s look at some potential sources of funding for your company.
M: Well,The Bank I use for my commercial account wants me to submit a loan application.
F:a Commercial bank is one funding source , the other two we might consider are investment banks and joint ventures.
M: Let’s look at the commercial bank first, I mean I already have a relationship with them.
F: That’s a big advantage.
M: sure! They know my track record.
F: you can use your past relationship to build a rapport and ongoing 3 relationship.
M: I like working with them ,they got me through a few rough spots(帮我度过几次难关)
Q:what are 3 possible sources of funding?
A:commercial bank, investment bank and joint venture.

F: commercial banks are good to work with.
M: what so?
F: once you’ve established a line of credit(信用贷款之最高限额)…
M: which we have.
F: once you’ve established it(信用贷款之最高限额), you are eligible 4 for a short-term loan.
M: That’s a big plus right there.
F:You bet, you never know when you might wind up short on money.
M: I ‘ve been down that road before.(I had that experiences before)

A: short term loan availability.

M: Is there disadvantage of borrowing from a commercial bank?
F: Generally, it costs more , commercial banks have higher interest rate.
M: So the disadvantage is a higher interest rate?
F: Yes, there’s a higher cost of funding (提供或获取资金)with commercial banks.
M: I can’t handle a high carrying cost.(利息费用)
F: well,talk to your bank, negotiate (work out) a low rate.(后不加介词)
M: They might work out something.(可能会有结果)
F: sure.They want to keep you as a customer.
