 　　看美剧、跟美国人聊天，你是否常被他们的俚语、口头禅弄得摸不着头脑？比如平时听Spencer, Adam的节目，他俩动不动来一句："Right off the bat...", “knock it out of the park"...到底什么意思？今天，我们就来帮你解决困扰，从美国人最喜欢的运动类口头禅说起。

　　俚语这个概念在英语里一般叫slang，有时候也是idiom。需要注意的是slang中的ang跟拼音的ang不同, 应该读成／sl??／。体育俚语是俚语的一大类别。
　　Baseball idioms: 棒球俚语

　　Right off the bat: 首先，一开始 (这个bat指的是棒球的球棒，baseball bat)
　　hit it off: 一棒打响，气场很合
　　To hit a home run: 本垒打、指表现优秀、干得好

　　橄榄球、棒球比赛球场用“码”做长度单位, 英制中丈量长度单位，1码=3英尺
　　To go the whole nine yards: 竭尽全力，一个类似的表达是to give it your all

　　It's a slam dunk: 十拿九稳、胜券在握（slam dunk：灌篮，用来形容对一件事非常有把握。这个俚语和前面说的to hit a home run意思很像，但是用法不太一样。Slam dunk可以形容对还未发生的事情有把握，而hit a home run则更多形容已经发生的事情。)

　　A hole in one: 一杆进洞。源自高尔夫， 一次就成功的意思。
　　A knockout: 颜值爆表 。这个说法源自拳击，就是大家可能都听过的KO, 被击倒的意思; 这里引申含义就是一个迷倒众生的大美女。注意，这个词通常只用于形容女性。
