不能提耳朵
Little Johnnys's next doors had a baby. Unfortunately 1, the baby was born without ears.
小约翰尼的邻居生了小孩。不幸的是宝宝生来没有耳朵。
When they arrived home from the hospital, the parents invited Little Johnny's family to come over and see their new baby. Little Johnny's dad had a talk with little Johnny before going to the neighbors.
从医院回到家后，宝宝的父母邀请小约翰尼一家过来看新生儿。在过去之前，爸爸和小约翰尼谈了一次话。
He said, "Now, son... that poor baby was born with no ears. I want you to be on your best behavior and not say one word about his ears or I am really going to spank 2 you when we get back home."
爸爸说：“呃，孩子……那个可怜的婴儿生来没有耳朵。我希望你能好好表现，不要提他的耳朵。否则我们回来后，我真的会揍你一顿的。”
"I promise not to mention his ears at all," said Little Johnny.
小约翰尼答道：“我保证绝不提他的耳朵。”
At the neighbor's home, Little Johnny leaned 3 over in the crib and touched the baby's hand. He looked at its mother and said, "Oh, what a beautiful little baby." The mother said, "Thank you very much, Little Johnny."
在邻居家里，小约翰尼俯身在童床上，摸了摸宝宝的小手。然后转向宝宝的妈妈说：“多漂亮的小宝宝啊！”“太谢谢你这样说了，小约翰尼。”
He then said, "This baby has perfect little hands and perfect little feet. Why... just look at his pretty little eyes... Did his doctor say that he can see good?"
他又接着说道：“小宝宝长着漂亮的小手和小脚。呃……瞧瞧这对漂亮的眼睛……医生说他的眼睛没问题吧？”
The Mother said, "Why, yes Johnny... his doctor said he has 20/20 vision 4."
宝宝妈妈答道：“当然，约翰尼，医生说他的视力足有2.0。”
Little Johnny said, "Well, it's a good thing, 'cause he sure couldn't wear glasses!!!"
小约翰尼说：“哦，这就好啦，因为他肯定戴不了眼镜！！！”
