Down to earth：接地气
60% of the time, “down to earth” does match with the Chinese “接地气”, and you can use it in very similar ways. 百分之六十的情况下“down to earth”和中文字面意思上比较对应。
Earth：大地、地面
Down to earth可以在这些情况下使用
#1.形容人和个性很接地气
Person & Personality
形容人不装、不高高在上、和群众打成一片:
Not snobbish 1
Not lofty 2, stuck up
怎么用？
He's a very down to earth person. 他是一个很接地气的人。
也可以形容一个人的性格很实在：

怎么用？
Adam has got a down to earth personality. Adam的性格很接地气。

形容一家餐厅很大众化、价格很朴实：

怎么用？
This is a very down to earth restaurant. 这是一家很接地气的餐厅。
Fine dining restaurants are usually not down to earth. 高级餐厅一般不怎么接地气。

也可以形容气氛很轻松：
Down to earth atmosphere：气氛很轻松（very relaxed）
