这是一个全球性的节日：
International Women's Day: 国际妇女节
March 8th Women's Day: 三八妇女节
要注意Woman的发音有点搞：
Woman: /'w?m?n/
Women: /'w?m?n/ 变成复数以后，o的发音也要随之变化
Woman, Female, Lady
有什么不一样？
很多词都可以用来表示女性，不过用法各不相同：
Female: 一般用于正式情况下表示性别，口语中并不常用
Woman: 最常用的表示“女性，女人”的词
Lady: 淑女，很优雅。不过随着时代的变化，有些女性并不喜欢被称为lady。
They feel objectified when they are called "ladies". 如果有人叫她们ladies, 她们会觉得被物化了。
Feminism, Feminist 1, Feminine
意思各不同
这些词都是从female衍生出来，所以都是和“女性”相关：
Feminism: 女权主义
Feminist: 女权主义者
注意：feminist不一定是女性，男性也可以是feminist。
Feminine: 女性化的，娇柔的。很多设计风格会用到这个词。
比起礼物，女性更需要平等
比起礼物，现代女性更需要的是平权！

Women's rights: 女性权力
去年为了抗议职场性骚扰，美国发起了Me Too Movement的活动:
The "Me Too" movement spread virally in October 2017 as a hashtag used on social media to help demonstrate the widespread prevalence of sexual assault and harassment 3, especially in the workplace.
“Me Too”在2017年10月开始广泛传播，它被用作社交媒体的标签来支持反抗泛滥的职场性骚扰。
即使没有性骚扰丑闻，很多女性仍然在职场面临各种歧视：

Glass ceiling: 玻璃天花板（指隐形限制）
C-suite: 高阶管理层
There are few women in the C-suite. 女性在高阶管理层仍然很少。
