 Get还是Got?


不论什么样的情况,如果你只用 get 或 got 某一个词来回答他人其实都是错误的,正确的用法是:
I get / got something
比如,你想简洁地回复他人你明白某事了,一定要记得在最后加上 it: 
Get it. 我明白了。
Got it. 我明白了。
但除了时态的区别,get 和 got 在用法和一些细节上也不同。
关于Get
#1.我明白了
从 get 这个词说起:
To get something: 理解、懂、明白
口语中有一句常用的表达:
I get it: 我明白了。
这句话的字面意思是我明白了,但带着一种不耐烦,不情愿的态度。比如父母催促孩子去打扫房间,孩子们就会用这句话来回答。
Get 也有更客气、更安全的说法,不会让人感觉你不耐烦:
I get it now. 我现在明白了。
I think I get it. 我想我明白了。
#2.我不明白
相反,你不懂、不明白的时候,就可以直接说:
I don't get it. 我不明白。
常用的表达:
I don't get a joke: 我不懂这个笑话的笑点。
I don't get the point: 我不懂这个道理。
#3.理解某人
如果你想表达非常了解一个人的时候也可以用 get:
He really gets me. 他真的很懂我。
They get each other. 他们很了解对方。
但小心千万别说成这句话:
Get on someone's nerves 1: 惹某人生气
最后,get 也可以用在一个问句里:
Do you get it? 你懂了吗?
关于Got
#1.我明白了
和 Get it 相比,“Got it” 让人听起来更加放心,表示你懂了,并且后续一定会采取行动。
Got it: 我懂了+我会去做
所以对老板说这句更好:
I got it. 我(已经)明白了
#2.更多用法
Got it 还可以表示不要担心,我来搞定的意思。 
Got it: I can handle it.
Got 也可以用来鼓励他人:
You got this: 你可以的。
记得不能把 this 说成 that.

  • What he said at the meeting strung her nerves up. 他在会议上的发言使她的神经很紧张。
  • At the end of a day's teaching, her nerves were absolutely shattered. 教了一天课,她精疲力竭。
