When I went to get my driver's license, the motor-vehicle bureau was very busy. I stood in line for over two hours before the man in front of me made it to the counter.
我去领驾照时，监理处刚好很忙；差不多排队等了两个多小时，才轮到排我前面那个人和柜台接洽。
The man looked at his photo for a moment and said to the clerk," I was standing 2 in line so long, I ended up looking pretty grouchy 3 in this picture."
那个人看了一会儿他的照片，对办事员说：“我因为排队站太久，所以这张照片看起来表情很不高兴。”
The clerk looked at his picture closely, and smiled, "It's okay. That's how you're going to look when the cops pull you over anyway."
办事员仔细看了一下他的照片，微笑道：“没差啦，反正你被警察拦到路边时也会是那个表情。”
