酒吧的赌博
A guy walks into a bar, stopping to talk to everyone in the bar. As he finishes with each group of people, they all get up and leave and go stand outside the window, looking in.
一个家伙走进酒吧，和里面每个人耳语一番；全部讲完一轮后，大家全都起身离开酒吧，站在窗外往里头瞧。
Finally, the bar is empty except for this guy and the bartender.
最后除了这家伙和酒保外，整个酒吧就没其他人了。
The guy walks up to the counter, and says to the bartender, “I bet you $2,000 that I can spray beer from my mouth into a glass from forty feet, and not get any outside the glass.”
这个人走近吧台对酒保说：“2 000 块，打赌我能用嘴把啤酒喷到四十英尺外的酒杯里，而且一滴不漏。”
The bartender thinks that this guy is out of his mind, but he wants $2,000, so he agrees.
酒保觉得这家伙大概脑子有毛病，但有2000 块可赚，他当然同意。
The bartender gets out a shot glass , paces off forty feet, and the contest begins. The guy sprays beer all over the bar. He doesn't even touch the glass.
于是酒保拿出小杯，用脚步量出四十英尺，打赌比赛便正式开始。那个家伙把啤酒喷得酒吧里到处都是，小杯根本连碰都没碰到。
When he finishes, the bartender looks at him and says, “Well, I guess you owe me $2,000, huh?”
结束后，酒保看着他说：“怎么样？我想你欠我2000 块对吧？”
The guy answers, “Yeah, but I bet all of those people outside the window $500 each that I could come in here and spray beer all over the bar.”
那家伙回答：“没错，不过我和窗外那些人每人打赌500块，说我可以到吧台这里，把啤酒喷得酒吧里到处都是。”
