【quit thinking 停止……想法】
quit跟stop一样，后面跟着-ing 表示 “停止某种动作”，后面跟着不定词时意思是 “停下来做某项动作”，例如：quit smoking 2“戒烟”，stop to smoke“停下来抽烟”。
A: We have been running for an hour. Let's stop to take a rest.
