讲解:词语盛行于19世纪以后,但却出自于15世纪-16世纪,海盗活动猖獗的时候。相传海盗面目狰狞,手持凶器,牙齿间还咬着一把把尖刀。为形象生动,汉语中把它翻译为“武装到牙齿”,喻指全副武装。
