预订机票

很多人都是在出发在即的时候才开始考虑票的事情，结果导致很多时候都无法按时出行。建议大家还是提早订票比较好，因为这样做不仅能够保证你的顺利出行，而且还能让你享受到不错的票价折扣。

详解惯用单句

　　我想预订一张去纽约的机票。I want to book a seat to New York.

I’d like to make a reservation 1 to Shanghai. 我想预订一张去上海的机票。

I’d like to reserve a seat to Singapore. 我想订一张去新加坡的机票。

　　“book”作动词，意为“预订”，相当于“reserve”。

　　我想订一张6月23号的单程机票。I want a one-way ticket for June 23.

ticket  n. 票

　　我想明天上午动身。I want to depart 2 tomorrow morning.

depart  v. 离开，出发，起飞

　　我要一张往返票。I want a round-trip ticket.

I want a return ticket.

round-trip ticket（美）= return ticket（英）“来回票，往返票”

　　明天到亚特兰大的航班都是几点的？

What time are your flights to Atlanta tomorrow?

明天到亚特兰大的飞机有哪几班？

　　flight  n. 航班，飞行

　　您要头等舱的，还是要经?济舱的？

Will you be traveling first class or economy?

　　这里简单介绍一下飞机里的“客舱（cabin）”：其中最贵的是“头等舱（first class）”，最便宜的是“经  济舱（economy/tourist class）”，居中的是“商务舱（business class）”。

　　你想坐哪家航空公司的飞机？Which airline would you prefer to fly with?

　　打折吗？Is there a discount?

　　这趟航班要飞多长时间？How long will this flight take?

Clerk：Oriental Airlines. Can I help you?



Jason：Yes, I’d like to reserve a seat to Singapore.



Clerk：Just one moment, please. Let me check for you.



Jason：OK.



Clerk：We have two flights, one at 2:00 pm, and the other at 5:00 pm. Both flights have seats available. Which would you like to take, sir?



Jason：I’d like to take the first available flight.



Clerk：Which would you prefer, first class or economy?



Jason：Economy, please. What time does the flight get into Singapore?



Clerk：At 8:00 o’clock. Do you have any other questions?



Jason：When do I have to check in??



Clerk：You have to be there an hour before the departure 3. Thank you for flying? with us

check in”指“（旅客登机前）办理登机手续”，也可以指“（客人入住酒店时）办理入住手续”。

例如：“You need to check in two hours before the flight.”（你需要在飞机起飞前两个小时办理登机手续。）

“He’s just checked in at this Hotel.”（他刚刚在这个酒店办理好入住手续。）

　　如果想表示“给某人办理登机手续或入住手续”，则可以说“check sb. in”。

例如：Airline employees are checking in passengers. （机场工作人员正在给旅客办理登机手续。）

　　而“check in sth.”则表示“把某物办理托运”。

例如：“I said goodbye and went to check in my suitcases.”（我说了再见，然后就去给我的几个箱子办理托运手续。）

　　“fly”在本课中指的是“乘飞机飞行”。例如：We decide to fly to Beijing tomorrow. （我们决定明天乘飞机去北京。）

　　预订机票

职员：东方航空公司。我能为您做些什么吗？

杰森：是的，我想订一张去新加坡的机票。

职员：请稍等。我来给您查一下。

杰森：好的。
