K:Where did you hear that saying?
E:I read it in a book somewhere. It's a very interesting proverb 3. Nothing lasts forever, does it?
K:Well, I suppose true love does.
E:Uh, yeah, I guess that could be true.
K:What do you mean, you "guess" it could be true?
E:Well, uh, I've never, I mean I've never actually been in love before, you know, I mean, with, with someone outside my family.
  K:Well, I have.
  E:Oh? When was that?
K:In high school. But I guess that was just puppy 4 love. It didn't last.
E:Anyway, I've really enjoyed traveling in Europe with you, Kathy. You're a great partner. You don't complain much, your habits are OK, and you have a great sense of humor 5.
K:Well, thank you! And you, Mr. Whiting, are a good partner, too. Would you like to do this again?
E:Yes, actually, I would. But after we pay off this trip!
