1. 解词释义
Jump是“跳”的意思，to jump right out of one’s skin直接翻译就是“从某人的皮肤里跳出来”。这当然不可能发生的事情。实际上，to jump right out of one’s skin就是指“被一个突然发生的事情或者是未预料的危险吓了一大跳”。此外，这个短语也有可以表示“使某人惊喜”。对话中“I almost jumped right out of my skin.”的意思就是“我真是惊喜万分”。
