B: He always work so hard. He did not leave until 9 o’clock.
他工作总是很卖力，不到晚上9点钟他是不会下班的。
A: You have put your finger on it. After all he has spend much more time on work than us.
你说到点子上了。毕竟他在工作上花的时间比我们多得多。
地道表达put one’s finger on something1. 解词释义Put one’s finger on something的字面意思是“把你的指头放在某事上面”，比喻为“说话说到要害，说到点子上，说话一针见血”等意思。是对对方说的话表示肯定。
2. 拓展例句e.g. He can't put his finger on what is wrong.
他也说不上问题在哪儿。
e.g. There was nothing she could put her finger on, or articulate, just this lingering unease.
她说不清楚，只是一种挥之不去的不安感。

Ps 3：not ... Until的意思是“直到......才......”。例如：
