Sow with a generous hand; 慷慨的手，辛勤播种，
Pause not for toil 1 and pain; 胼手砥足，难得歇息，
Weary not through the heat of summer, 毫不计较，夏天炙热，
Weary not through the cold spring rain; 早春淫雨，侵人肌骨。
But wait till the autumn comes for the sheaves of golden grain. 金秋时刻，终于来临，丰收庄稼，漫山遍谷。
Scatter 2 the seed, and fear not, 播撒种子，恐惧不再，
A table will be spread; 一畦春苗，即将发芽，
What matter if you are too weary to eat your hard-earned bread; 汗滴禾下，盘中之餐，悲喜欣集，拜赐双手，
Sow, while the earth is broken, 精耕细作，播种希望，
For the hungry must be fed. 凡尘百姓，食大为天。
Sow;—while the seeds are lying in the warm earth’s bosom 3 deep, 金色种子，播进泥土，静静躺在，母亲怀里，
And your warm tears fall upon it 滚烫泪水，扑簌落下，
They will stir in their quiet sleep, 惊蛰声中，睡眠结束，
And the green blades rise the quicker, perchance, for the tears you weep. 绿色芽苗，破土而出，争相报答，农夫辛苦。
Then sow;—for the hours are fleeting 4, 春光易逝，不误农时，
And the seed must fall to-day; 披星戴月，犁田耙土。
And care not what hand shall reap it, 前人栽树，后人乘凉，
Or if you shall have passed away 赠人玫瑰，手有余香。
Before the waving cornfields shall gladden the sunny day. 麦浪翻滚，收获稻谷，耕者慷慨，造福桑梓。
Sow;—and look onward 5, upward, 不停播种，仰望前行，
Where the starry 6 light appears, 繁星万点，摇曳出现，
Where, in spite of the coward's doubting, 凄风冷雨，难以畏惧，
Or your own heart’s trembling fears, 丰满自足，持奉信念。
You shall reap in joy the harvest 收获幸福，在丰收里，
You have sown to-day in tears. 播撒种子，在眼泪里。
