　　In less than an hour we reached Dirschau, where we took up the passengers, that had come on the Konigsberg railway. 不到一个钟头，我们已抵达德肖，火车停站，上来一些旅客，火车接着驶往哥尼斯堡，

　　Here I went forward and asked Kroller how he liked the engine. 我前去找马丁，想询问他对驾驶这列机车的感觉，
　　He replied that he liked it very much. 他回答中透出非常满意的神情。
　　"But," he added, with a strange sparkling of the eye, wait until I get my improvement, and then you will see traveling. “不过，”他接着说，眼里闪出奇异的光泽，一旦我的改造完成，你才可以领略真正的旅行。
　　Why, I could run an engine of my construction to the moon in four and twenty hours? 哎呀，那时我才能开着自己研发的火车一天内到达月球。
　　I smiled at what I thought his enthusiasm, and then went back to my station. 我笑了起来，他可真够大胆激情，随后我返回车厢。
　　As soon as the Konigsberg passengers were all on board, and their baggage carriage attached, we started on again. 哥尼斯堡站上旅客全部上车后，行李箱挂接完毕，火车又开动了。
　　Soon after, I went into the guard carriage and sat down. 不一会，我走进警卫车厢坐下，
