A: I hate telling lies.

B: I cannot agree with you completely 1. I think sometimes it is necessary and helpful to tell a little fib.
我不能完全同意你的观点。我觉得有时候说谎是必要的，也是有帮助的。

第二， 地道表达
fib
1. 解词释义
Fib这个词语lie都是“说谎”的意思，但是在程度上稍有不同，前者是指“无伤大雅的谎言”，带有掩饰的意思，即所谓的“白色的谎言”或是“美丽的谎言”，但是后者是指“欺骗性的谎言”。
2. 拓展范例
e.g. Stop telling such silly fibs.
别说这种傻乎乎的谎话了。
e.g. " I told a fib about my age, " little Tom said.
“ 有关我的年龄我撒了个谎, ” 小汤姆说。
e.g. He told a fib so he could leave early.

第三， 咬文嚼字
agree with sb.：同意……
e.g. He tends 2 to get angry when people do not agree with him.

hate doing something：讨厌做某事
e.g. I hate doing experiments. They always go wrong for me.
我最恨做实验，我每次做都出岔错。

- She never completely gave up hope.她从不完全放弃希望。

v.照料( tend的第三人称单数 )；照顾；招待；侍候
