A fragment of a rainbow bright 天地晦暗，风急雨骤，
Through the moist air I see, 望遥远边陲云霁天初，
All dark and damp on yonder height, 一道七彩虹飞跨山颠，
All bright and clear to me. 澄光尽万里恍惚如梦。
An hour ago the storm was here, 暴风雨刚才离开这里，
The gleam was far behind; 微光如熙蹒跚已很久，
So will our joys and grief appear, 大地撕开无助的黑暗，
When earth has ceased to blind. 快乐与哀伤清晰再现。
Grief will be joy if on its edge, Fall soft that holiest ray, 悲恸与欢欣转瞬之间，融进弥散曲静穆庄严，
Joy will be grief if no faint pledge, Be there of heavenly day. 星光下没有微弱承诺，不会有上帝大爱无边。
