　　Jingjing: Hey, Mark, did you have a good weekend?
　　京晶：嘿，马克，你的周末过得好吗？
　　Mark: Yeah, I did, and now it's over.
　　马克：是的，非常好，但是现在一切都结束了。
　　Jingjing: Hey, why are you being such a grouch 1? Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning?

　　Mark: That's right! TGIF! This is my favorite day of the week. The weekend is finally here. I just have to make it through today and then I can relax for two days!
　　马克：没错！感谢老天，总算到星期五啦！这是我最喜欢的一天。周末终于要来了。只要熬过今天，我就可以放松两天啦！
　　Jingjing: Yeah, Friday is definitely 5 a day that makes me happy too. Wednesday is also a nice day for me. It's the hump day. To me, it's the half-way point for the work week. After Wednesday, the week is downhill from there.
　　京晶：是啊，每到星期五我也感觉特别开心。不过周三对我来说也不错，因为它预示着一周已经过了一半啦。过了周三，工作就慢慢减少了。
　　Mark: Yeah, you're right. My most dreaded 6 day of the week is Thursday because I have to have my weekly review with my boss. He's always threatening me that he will bump 7 me down a position if my projects aren't finished on time.
　　马克：是啊，你说得对。我最害怕的是周四，因为我必须跟我的老板做每周汇报。他总是威胁我说，如果我的项目没有按时完成，他就给我降职。
　　Jingjing: Don't worry, he's all bark and no bite. That's normal for managers to say those things to employees. Just do your best and everything will work out.
　　京晶：别担心，他只是嘴上说说而已，不会真的采取行动。经理就是爱这样吓唬员工。只要你做到最好，一切都会迎刃而解的。
　　Mark: I hope you're right. Anyways, got any plans this weekend?
　　马克：我希望你说得对。不管怎么样，本周末你有什么计划吗？
　　Jingjing: Yeah,actually, I got the short end of the stick and have to work over time. The good news is that I can earn some extra money!
　　京晶：有啊，倒霉的我得加班。不过好处是，这样我就可以赚些外快啦！
　　Mark: Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. Oh,well, have a good day at work and I'll talk to you next week.
　　马克：哦，太可怜了。祝你工作愉快，下周见。
