Oh that men would praise the Lord' for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! 哦,人们将讴歌耶和华的美德,讴歌你怜惜幼弱生命的温柔与悲悯!
They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters; 孩子们划着小船奔向大海,他们在经济大潮中不断沉浮,
these see the works of the Lord, and his wonders in the deep. 他们亲眼目睹耶和华的万能,你的超然力量。
For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof. 你翻云覆雨的手,才能搅起漫天的暴雨狂飙。
They mount up to the heaven; they go down again to the depths; their soul is melted because of trouble; 孩子们在扭曲翻滚,倏忽升到半空,倏忽坠落沟壑,他们的灵魂得以熔炼。
they reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wit's end. 他们眩晕混沌奔波不止,他们步履蹒跚不明方向,仿佛站在世界尽头的悬崖边上。
Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses 1. 他们向耶和华哭诉苦难,你引导他们走出绝望。
He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still. 你使风暴平息,波涛不再涌翻,万籁俱静。
Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven 2. 暴风雨停息了,孩子们在欢笑,上帝照亮了他们梦中的天堂。

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 耶和华啊,你是我的牧羊人,须臾不能缺少。
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; he leadeth me beside the still waters. 你吩咐我卧躺在绿色的牧场上;你指引我走向静穆的溪流,
He restoreth my soul; he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 你让我的灵魂得以复苏;为了你的名誉,你带着我走向公平正义的道路。
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; 诚然,我走在死亡阴影笼罩下的山谷,但我决不惧怕魔鬼,
for thou art with me: thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me. 因为上帝之光与我同在,还有你的威严和信仰,给我安慰。
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 耶和华神,你在我的面前铺好台桌,我的敌人与我对视相望。你将圣油涂抹摩挲在我的头顶,圣杯悄然漫溢。
Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. 是的,良知和怜悯将伴我走过一生;我将在你的宫殿生活,直到永远。
