美国俚语：pull one\'s leg 开玩笑

A: Richard 这个夏天真的去了意大利了吗?

这也是一个跟「腿」有关的词语。也许"pulling one\'s leg" 看起来很容易令人联想到中文里的「扯后腿」, 不过它却是「开玩笑」的意思。
不知道为什么, "pulling one\'s leg" 和「扯后腿」的意思对美国人是完全无法联想在一起的。 他们倒是会用"trip one up"(把某人绊倒的意思)来形容像「扯后腿」这样的作法。
