1、There is more agreement on the kinds of behavior referred to by the term than there is on how to interpret or classify them.
【分析】
复合句。句子主干为一个There be句型，使用了more...than结构。翻译时，可以按照汉语的表达习惯调整原句的语序，不使用there be句型，而是增补句子的逻辑主语“人们”，同时把agreement转译作动词，more agreement on…than on…即可译为“对…的看法比对…的看法更为一致”。referred to by the term 作 the kinds of behavior 的后置定语，前置译。how to interpret or classify them 作 on 的宾语，译作前置定语。
