An Afghan official says that 14 people have been killed in a suicide bomb attack near Kabul's airport. The attack happened shortly after the country's controversial First Vice 1 President landed on his return from abroad.
Authority say a police officer in Seattle who is trying to stop a fleeing suspect was struck and killed by another officer. The officer driving the car was later critically injured in a collision.
A gunman who got into a shootout with police then took dozens of people hostage at a Los Angeles supermarket has been arrested, authorities said Sunday. One woman was shot and killed in the standoff.
And SpaceX launched a Falcon 2 9 rocket, carrying a Telstar 19 vantage communications satellite. The rocket took off from Cape 3 Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida.
