LESSON 44 SPRING 第四十四课 春天
Spring is come, and every thing is waking from its winter sleep. 春天来了，万物都从冬眠中苏醒了。
The fields are dressed in a fresh robe of green. 大地也穿上了嫩绿的浴袍。
There are buds 1 on the trees, and the wild-flowers once more begin to peep forth 2. 树儿发芽了，野花也再一次隐隐可见了。
The whites now-drop is one of the first flowers of spring. How lovely it is! 正在消失的白色成为了春天的第一群花中的一朵。太可爱了。
Birds sing among the trees, and begin to get ready their nests for summer. 鸟儿在树间歌唱，开始为夏天的鸟巢做准备。
Men begin now to plough and to sow in the fields. 人们开始耕地在田间播种，
The gardener digs the ground, and sows seeds in the garden. 园丁开始掘地在花园里播种。
The days are warmer, for brighter sunshine has come again. Everything is full of life and joy. 随着明媚的阳光再一次到来，天气变的越来越暖和，万物都充满了生机和乐趣。
Soon the soft spring showers will fall, to water the earth and make the seeds to grow. 绵绵的春雨不久就会到来，灌溉着整个大地，种子也开始生长。
It is by the rain and the sunshine that God makes the corn to grow, and the trees to bear leaves and flowers and fruit. 通过雨与阳光上帝使谷物生长，树木长出树叶并开花结果。
God does it all: it is the way，he gives us corn for bread, 上帝做了所有的事情：通过这种方式他给予我们能够用来制作面包的谷物，
Sweet herbs to eat, and pleasant fruit, 可食用的美味的草本植物，可口的水果，
That we may all be fed. 等其他的所有我们可能会吃到的美味。
Then let us never see a plant 虽然我们从未见到过一种植物,
Or blossom 3 on a tree, 或树上开花，
But let us think how good God is, 但是让我们想想上帝是多么的美好，
And ever thankful be. 上帝就是我们一直感激的样子。
