This is a cow: 这是一头奶牛：
it is out on the grass. 它在外面草地上。
There has been rain, 天已经下过雨，
and the grass is green. 绿草茵茵。
God sends the rain: 上帝送来雨水：
it makes the grass grow. 雨水让青草生长。
The cow eats the grass: 奶牛吃进牧草：
the grass is its food. 牧草就是它的养料。
The cow gives us milk. 奶牛为我们产出牛奶。
Thank you, good cow. 谢谢你啊，好奶牛。
Here is a young cow: 这是一头小奶牛：
it is called a calf 1. 我们叫它小牛犊。
It has come to the pond 它和母奶牛一起
with the cow, to drink. 来到池塘边喝水。
1.The rain is off. Let us go out. How green the grass looks! Where is the lamb? See! it has run to the sheep to drink. 1.雨停了。我们到外面去吧。草地看起来多么绿啊！小羊羔在哪里呀？看呀！它奔向母羊喝奶。
The milk of the sheep is its food. Some day the lamb will grow to be a sheep, and it will eat grass. 母羊的乳汁就是它的养料。有一天，小羊羔会长大，那时它就可以吃草了。
2.Do you see Tom's dog catch the tail of the cow? If Tom sees you, dog, he will make you run. There is Tom. 2.你看到汤姆的狗狗追赶奶牛的尾巴了吗？狗狗啊，若汤姆看见你这样，他会让你立刻逃窜。汤姆在那里。
He runs at the dog with his long stick. Tom throws his stick at the dog. The stick makes the dog run. 他手执长棍冲向狗狗。汤姆把棍子扔向狗狗。看呀，它过来了！
