Then she came back to Paddy. 然后她回到了培迪那里。
Christmas, she said, "is more than holly 1 and evergreen 2 trees. It is more than getting presents, too. 她说：圣诞节不仅仅只是冬青树和常青树，也不仅仅是收收礼物。
It is giving something to someone else and making him happy as well as yourself." 圣诞节是给予别人什么东西，让别人和自己一样高兴。
Then all the grown-up 3 bears went back to sleep. 接着成年大熊们又回去睡觉了。
At once Paddy went back to the woods. 培迪立刻返回了森林。
First he looked all around until he found a good stick for his father to use when he climbed around the mountains. 首先，他看了看周围，给他的爸爸找到了一根好用的棍子，爸爸爬山时可以用。
Next he hunted until he found a whole pawful of nuts for Uncle Bear, and some bright feathers for Aunt Bear. 接着，他找啊找，为他的叔叔找到了满满一手的坚果，为他的阿姨找到了一些鲜艳的羽毛。

All these things Paddy took back to the cave, and, for the last time, he waked his father and his mother and his uncle and his aunt. 培迪把这些东西拿回了山洞，他最后一次叫醒了爸爸、妈妈和叔叔、阿姨。
