God is in heaven; and can he see 神在天堂；他能看到
When I am doing wrong? — 我做的错事么？——
Yes, child, he can; he looks at thee 是的，孩子，神能看到的；他在观察你
All day and all night long. 每日每夜
God is in heaven; and would he know 神在天堂；他会知道
If I should tell a lie? — 我撒的每一个慌么？
Yes, child; if only spoken low, 是的，孩子；即使声音很小
He'd hear it in the sky. 他在天堂也能听到。
God is in heaven; and can I go 神在天堂；我可以去
To thank him for his care? — 为他的呵护表示感谢么？——
Not yet; but love him here below, 不行；但是可以在下面爱他，
And thou shalt praise him there. 你应该在这里赞扬他。
