China has also welcomed the nuclear deal reached between Iran and the six world powers in Geneva. Foreign Ministry 1 Spokesman Qin Gang says the deal is an important step after 10 years of international efforts at trying to solve Iran’s nuclear issue. But he also says that all those involved should be aware there is still a long road ahead.
Qin Gang, Spokesman, Chinese Foreign Ministry, said, "We hope that all parties should also take good steps in the future, since we have already made a good start. We should continue the negotiating process, and make joint 2 efforts to let the next phase of talks happen. And we should make unremitting efforts to solve Iran’s nuclear issue in a long term, comprehensive, and solid way."
