1. President-elect Donald Trump 1 says he may or may not choose ExxonMobil CEO Rex Tillerson as his secretary of state. In a tweet, Trump says no matter what he decides, Tillerson is "a world-Class player and deal-maker".
2. Egypt's official news agency says a blast at Cairo's main coptic Christian 2 cathedral has killed at least 25 people. The agency says Sunday's blast at St. Mark's cathedral wounded another 35.
3. Defense 3 secretary Ash Carter met with Iraqi prime minister Haider al-Abadi in Iraq on Sunday. His visit came as Iraqi security forces have been slow in nearly two month-old defensive 4 against the Islamic State group which occupied Mosul for more than two years.
4. Colorful floats made the way down streets of the West Bank city of Bethlehem during their annual Christmas parade. Several nativities scene drifted past the crowd. Santa and his elves were also in the show.
