1. U.N security council members met for a session on Sunday to discuss the ongoing 1 crisis in Syria. The council is expected to vote on a Syrian resolution to allow the U.N to provide assistance in the safe civilian 2 evacuations from Aleppo.
2. The mayor of Corpus Christi, Texas says officials have ended a ban on drinking the city's water after test results showed no contamination due to a chemical leak. Mayor Dan McQueen said on Sunday residents can resume using the city's water supply for drinking, bathing and cooking.
3. Officials say gunmen carried out a series of attacks in Jordan, including at a Crusader castle, popular among tourists. Those killed include members of Jordanian security force and a woman from Canada.
4. And the Santa Run was held for the first time in Kosovo on Sunday. About 380 santas ran for three miles to provide food for families in need during the winter.
