LESSON 1 MY CAT 第一课 我的猫
I have a cat, 我有一只猫，
Its name is Tit; 它的名字叫提特；
And by the fire 壁炉火堆旁
It loves to sit. 它喜欢趴着。
From off the rug 地毯上
It scarce will stir, 它很少四处走动，
But there will sit 但有时它会趴在那
All day and purr. 一天到晚喵喵叫个不停。
Each day I bring 每天我带给它
Its dish of milk, 一碟牛奶。
And smooth its coat 它那光滑的皮毛
To shine like silk. 就像丝绸一样闪亮。
And on my knee 在我膝盖上
It oft will sit; 它经常趴着；
And I love it. 我真爱我的猫。
