THURSDAY AFTER SCHOOL
星期四放学后
On Thursday Dexter found a box of cigars on the sidewalk.
星期四德克斯特在人行道上捡到一盒雪茄。
"I smoke cigars all the time," said Fox.
“我一直抽雪茄，” 小狐说。
"You do?" said his friends.
“你抽雪茄？” 朋友们惊呼。
"Mom doesn't care," said Fox.
“我妈妈不介意，” 小狐说。
"She doesn't?" said his friends.
“她不介意？” 朋友们不敢相信。
"Let's smoke now," said Fox.
“我们现在就抽吧，” 小狐说。
"Why not?" said his friends.
“为什么不呢？” 朋友们说。
And they went someplace quiet.
于是他们来到一个安静的地方。
Soon they were as sick as dogs.
不一会他们就被烟熏得很难受。
"I didn't know it would be like this!" said Fox.
“我真没想到会这样！” 小狐说。
"What!" cried Carmen. "You said you smoke all the time!"
“什么！” 卡门大叫道，“你不是说你一直都抽的吗。”
