China maps out its first air defense ID zone.
Foreign Ministry 2 spokesman Qin Gang, has urged Japan to stop undermining China's territorial 3 sovereignty. This was following Japanese protests over China’s establishment of a Air Defense Identification Zone in the East China Sea on Saturday. Japan said it could not accept the zone as it includes the Diaoyu Islands.
The Foreign Ministry spokesman further called on Japan to make proper efforts to solve the issue through dialogue.
