The lad looked up in surprise. "I don't believe 9 I can," he answered. 弗朗茨抬起头惊讶地看着祖父，我觉得自己不行，他回答道。
"You can't if you don't try," said the old man. "But if you really try, you may surprise yourself 10." 你不试试那当然不行了，祖父说，如果你真的试了，你自己也会很惊讶的。
Franz thought 11 for a little while 12; then he said, "I wonder 13 if I could 14 make a sheep." 弗朗茨想了一会儿，然后说道，那我想试试刻出一只羊来。
