1--Did you hear about that guy who climbed a skyscraper 1?
2--I don't believe I did. Was it on the TV news last night?
1--Uh-huh. This guy-calls himself "the Human
   Fly" -- climbed up this skyscraper with nothing
   but some big suction cups!
2--I suppose he got arrested.
1--He sure did! As soon as he got to the top of the
   building, the cops were there to grab him!
2--And he'll have to pay a fine, of course.
1--In this guy's case it looks as if he might have to go
   to jail, too!

1)skycraper:摩天大楼。
2)I don't believe=I don't think
3)Human Fly:直译为“具有人类特性的飞蝇。”因为飞蝇
是靠脚上吸盘在任何光滑的表面攀沿行走。
4)suction cup:吸盘。
5)cops(俗)=policemen
6)pay a fine;付罚款。fine在此是名词。亦可作动词用。
如:The police fined him heavily./He was fined $500.
7)jail=prison
