1Praise the Lord . Praise God in his sanctuary 1; praise him in his mighty 2 heavens.
2Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness.
3Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet 3, praise him with the harp 4 and lyre,
4praise him with tambourine 5 and dancing, praise him with the strings 6 and flute 7,
5praise him with the clash of cymbals 8, praise him with resounding 9 cymbals.
6Let everything that has breath praise the Lord . Praise the Lord .
