This is AP news minute. 


1. Iraqi forces launched a broad offensive on the west side of Mosul early Sunday morning. Footage shot by the Associated Press shows Iraqi helicopters firing rockets, and armed vehicles advancing. 


2. Vice 1 president Mike Pence was welcomed by the Belgian prime minister Sunday as he began his two-day visit to Belgium. His stop is part of his first oversea trip as vice president. Pence is slated 2 to meet leaders of the European union and NATO on Monday. 


3. Authorities say a pilot was injured after a small plane crash in New Jersey 3. City officials say the pilot was alert and talking after rescuers removed him from the wreckage 4


4. NASA's historic moonshot pad is back in business.  A space X Falcon 5 rocket blasted off Sunday morning from the launch complex. It was visible for just seconds, before docking into clouds on its way to the international space station.
