1. The U.S senate has voted on party lines to approve Tom Price as the secretary of health and human service. Republicans see Price as the acknowledgeable leader who can take on Obama care. Democrats 1 called him an ideal ideologue with a shady history of trading health-care stock.
2. A mother of two who were deported 2 from Arizona spoke 3 to reporters in Mexico. Her lawyer says Guadalupe Garcia de Rayos was deported as a direct result of one of President Donald Trump 4's executive orders.
3. The White House and China's state broadcaster say president Trump and Chinese president Xi spoke on Thursday evening. The White House says Trump agreed to on one-China policy to keep U.S-Taiwan ties unofficial.
4. And officials in southern Louisiana say two workers were hurt and one was missing, after an explosion and fire at a pipeline 5. The pipeline was carrying a very volatile 6 natural gas byproduct.
