Mom and Louise helped out with the costumes.

"Hold still," said Mom.
“不要动，”妈妈说。
"I hope I'm scary enough," said Dexter.
“我希望我看上去很恐怖，”德克斯特说。
It was time for the play.
演出开始，
Fox peeked 1 out from behind the curtain.
小狐透过幕布偷看外面场地，
There was a big crowd.
来了一大群人。
"I hope everthing goes okay," said Dexter.
“我希望一切顺利，”德克斯特说。
"What could go wrong?" said Fox.
“能有什么不顺利的？”小狐说。
The curtain went up.
幕布拉起，
And the play began.
演出开始。
Right away Carmen forgot her lines.
卡门一上台就忘词了。
"Well I did know them," she said to the audience.
“我刚刚还记得的，”她对观众们说。
Then Dexter crashed through the scenery.
接着德克斯特一头撞穿了舞台背景。
