Nick:Hi everybody, this is Nick. Welcome to teaching 1 series "how do you say this in American English."

Nick.
Brad
我们叫mix-up.So brad, have you watched the Oscar ceremony?
Brad:Oh yeah. That was a couple of weeks ago.
  Nick:That was so freaking funny.
Brad:Yeah well they completely mixed up who got to win the award. That was pretty embarrassing 2.
Nick:The best picture was for La La Land, no no no, I was gonna say La La Land but I can't make the same mistake. It was for moonlight. The moonlight boy or moonlight? Whatever…I don't really watch movies, sorry guys. It wasn't La La Land, but the announcer 3, warren beatty, he got it wrong. He got the total wrong thing. So that's a stage mix-up.
Brad:yeah, it's a classic 4 mix-up. You wanna know another example? One recently happened to me was I coached soccer, or you call it "football" in China?
Nick:Well, yeah in China, I think most people, they call it "football" instead of "soccer". But in the united states, we all call it "football" that "football".
Brad:Anyway, I was coaching football, and I was teaching these kids what to do. And too many of them were mixing up which is the goal. They needed a score port and extremely frustrating 5 and getting everything down. They could score very well. But they were mixing up which net they score.
  Nick:This is the biggest mistake.
Brad:Ok, I was like, "stop mixing up the goals." Score! Where I was standing 6 was the left goal, but they were at the wrong left.
Nick:So they got the wrong net?
  Brad:Yeah wrong net every time
  Nick:That's ridiculous
Brad:I have no idea how they can mix that up, but they were…
Nick:So it also happens in professional games, right?
Brad:Yeah I'm pretty sure that can happen.
Nick:Like somebody just got the wrong net. It's possible. Did you coach that football team before?"
  Brad:Yeah
A mix-up ball. You can say like a "mix-up ball, right?"
  Brad:Yeah you can say that.
I'll see you guys next time
  Brad:Bye everyone.
  Nick:Bye.
