Some of the Monkeys seized the Tin Woodman and carried him through the air until they were over a country thickly covered with sharp rocks. 好几只猴子捉住了铁皮人，带着他飞出国境，直飞到堆着厚厚的尖锐石头的深谷。
Here they dropped the poor Woodman, who fell a great distance to the rocks, where he lay so battered 1 and dented 2 that he could neither move nor groan 3. 把铁皮人扔了下去，铁皮人全身受到损害，支离破碎，动弹不得，无法说话。
