He opened the big box, and Dorothy saw that it was filled with spectacles 1 of every size and shape. 他打开大箱子，多萝茜看见里面装满了各种大小和形状的眼镜。
All of them had green glasses in them. 所有的眼镜上都镶着绿色的玻璃。
The Guardian 2 of the Gates found a pair that would just fit Dorothy and put them over her eyes. 奥芝国守城门的人找到了一副适合多萝西的眼镜，给多萝茜戴上。
There were two golden 3 bands fastened to them that passed around the back of her head, 有两条金色的带子系在她的后脑勺上，
where they were locked together by a little key that was at the end of a chain the Guardian of the Gates wore around his neck. 带子被锁链末端的一个小钥匙锁在了一起，奥芝国守城门的人把锁链戴在他的脖子上。
When they were on, Dorothy could not take them off had she wished, 当他们走的时候，多萝茜无法取掉眼镜，
but of course she did not wish to be blinded by the glare 4 of the Emerald City, so she said nothing. 但是，她当然不希望被翡翠城耀眼的光芒弄瞎，所以她什么也没说。
Then the green man fitted spectacles for the Scarecrow and the Tin Woodman and the Lion, 然后，看门人给稻草人、铁皮人和狮子戴上了眼镜，
